About Me

Hello! I'm Danyelle Brandon, a Senior Learning Experience Strategist and L&D Leader with 10+ years designing learning that makes complex systems make sense.

I started as a middle school teacher, and left knowing I'd helped my students hit some of the highest performing data in our school district. That experience taught me something I've carried into every room since: change is inevitable, and the harder you fight it, the harder the transition gets for everyone involved. I moved into adult learning because I realized the future starts with the person in front of you, right now, whether that's a classroom or an executive team.

Most recently, I've owned content and development for the payroll application within a multi million dollar Oracle HR and payroll implementation supporting 13,000+ employees at Baltimore City Public Schools, contributing to 87% payroll processing accuracy. In parallel, I support a private sector Oracle HCM implementation through KPMG.

Creativity defines my approach to innovation and problem solving. Throughout my career, I have embraced reskilling and upskilling in various roles, from team member to team leader. I've discovered that thinking outside the box leads to unique, solution driven ideas. This creative mindset has consistently fostered positive change and enabled me to thrive through challenges..

collaboration

Early in life, I learned the value of teamwork from my experience with four siblings, discovering that working together is often more efficient than working alone. This principle was reinforced through sports and professional roles, particularly during my time at Apple, where I gained significant insights into collaboration. I see myself as a crucial part of a team, much like a component in a bike or car, essential for the whole system to function. This perspective has remained with me, and I continue to value every member of a team, regardless of size.
